Seethawaka wet zone botanical garden is the fifth botanical garden in Sri Lanka. This amazing garden situated near the Indikada Mukalana Forest Awissawella. Climate is too cool. Still this garden covers only 79 acres, but it will expand to 105 acres in the future. This garden conserving endemic and threatened plants are found in the Sinharaja forests. Improving export floriculture, ex-situ conservation of wet lowland plants, and bamboo cultivation are also in here.
